KEEPING THE ORPHANS WARM!!

When it comes to keeping the orphans warm, Michelle Marroquin of Coos Bay, Oregon is outstanding! Michelle has mobilized many in the Coos Bay and North Bend area into making hundreds of blankets and quilts. Over the last year they have made around 500 blankets and plan on making 1200 this year! Michelle's group plans on making 100 quilts each month. The motivation that comes from all this work is contagious! Many elderly ladies have gotten so involved with the work that they no longer require medication or bed rest to keep them healthy. I know it certainly gets us excited at the office!

We have several women's groups who make these blankets and we appreciate each and every one who has contributed to this project. Nancy Everett of Myrtle Creek, Oregon is another motivator we hear from and she keeps the interest and quilting going in that area. She is also very active in raising funds for Lermontovka orphanage #1.

Without these ladies who remind us all each month of the orphans needs, many would forget and the children would suffer from the loss. We praise all of you for your support and generous gifts. Keep quilting, raising funds and keep praying for the success of Lifeline of Hope and the orphans of Russia.
