Hope Programs
Lifeline of Hope is profiling the needs of orphanages and poor houses in Russia. Critical needs are being determined in each facility and sponsors are being sought to provide food, medicine and clothing. This requires approximately $10 per month per child. If an orphanage has 25 children it requires $250 per month to meet their very basic needs. When you choose to sponsor, your funds are combined with others to fulfill the needs of one of many orphanages. Individuals or groups may choose to sponsor an orphanage entirely. Sponsors will receive a profile on the facility they support and information about the children as well as a monthy newsletter about the progress of the work in Russia.
Your donations provide direct aid to the orphanages and poor houses. Nutritional needs of the children are being met by supplying them with meat, dairy products, fruit, vitamins and vegetables. Medical needs are provided to address the health problems. Your support replaces tattered rags of clothing with new clean, functional clothes. Old and worn shoes, many not even matching, are being replaced with new ones. We are addressing sanitation and water problems with water filters, disinfectants and necessary repairs to the facilities.

Children's Hospital Sponsorship
When children are abandoned by their parents or become too sick for the orphanages, they are sent to one of the many Children's Hospitals. Conditions in the hospitals are unimaginable! Due to overcrowding and the lack of medication, such as antibiotics, many children do not survive. Medical supplies and equipment are antiquated, worn and most of the time, simply do not exist! There are few diapers, ointments or adequate formulas for the babies. These hospitals are always understaffed resulting in little or no individual attention for these critically ill children! Sanitation is impossible, due to mice, roaches and ;ack of supplies! Hospitals survive by begging for support. $10 will purchase enough medication to save the life of a child!!!
