It has been brought to our attention that individuals that have placed their resume's
on websites such as CRAIGSLIST.COM have been contacted by an individual claiming to be Dr. Jim Miller.
This individual offers a job for various amounts of money and follows up with a request
for personal information on an application form. The email he sends even has a link to our website.
This individual is NOT an employee of Lifeline of Hope, nor is he or she affiliated
with Lifeline of Hope in any way! This individual is attempting to perpetrate a version of the 411 scam. Do NOT give them
any personal information or EVER send them any money.
Lifeline of Hope will never ask you to send money to a foreign country, nor do we
have employees or programs in which the type of actions he or she is requesting would be undertaken.
Please note that they are using email programs such as "gmail" or "yahoo". Only emails
ending in @lifelineofhope.org are authentic emails. If in doubt call us at 406-257-0868.
We apologize for any inconvenience this unscrupulous individual may have caused you
and we are working with authorities to try to find out who they are. Unfortunately, they are probably somewhere in Africa
where prosecution would be very difficult to pursue.
Sincerely,
Greg Timmons
Director
Lifeline of Hope
