The truth is that although it may seem like a small thing...and it is easy...it is difficult to comprehend the amount of good it will do in the life of an orphan and it makes ALL the difference in the world to them!

 

How can we do this with your sponsorship of just $10 per orphan? I know that is doesn't seem like much, but you are not alone in this. When you sponsor an orphan, you become our partner in caring for a child in a orphanage. We combine your donation with money that has been donated to our General Fund to care for the children in the orphanage.

 

That and the power of the American Dollar...purchasing goods and services in the country where the orphanage is, make it possible to care for the children very well for very little!

 

As your partner, Lifeline of Hope does more than just that though! We also work very hard to make sure your generosity does not go to waste. Our Child Care Facilitators are there in-country, making surprise visits and inspections to ensure that the children are being cared for in our prescribed manner. In addition to that all goods and services purchased must be proven each and every month and are also subject to physical inspection at any time.

 

 

Whether it is an orphanage that has requested aid from Lifeline, or it is one that we have found...the process is the same. The orphanage must undergo a strict assessment period and meet all of our initial requirements before they can become a "Lifeline of Hope" Orphanage or other Child Care Facility.

 

 

You will receive a profile of the orphanage in which you are sponsoring one or more orphan children. Each and every month you will receive one of our newsletters. The Partners Update will provide you with information that only "partners" get to see...statistics, plans and more. It is a very personal, interactive update just for you! Also, you will receive the Voice of the Orphans on the alternating months. It is designed to keep you inspired and informed about what is being done and the great need that still exists.

 

In addition to this, you will be given a special email address that will give you the opportunity to send messages to the children in the orphanage where you are sponsoring one or more orphans. Your message will be a source of encouragement to the children in the home and will build bridges between our countries as well.

 

At Lifeline of Hope, we care for orphans. These are not children that are in a  family home... or that have a mother and father...although that is the way we want them to feel. Because of that, your communications will be to all of the children...not just one. We know that you would not want any of the children to feel left out...or to know that they were not "sponsored".

When you adopt an orphanage, you are making it possible for the orphan children that live there to have a chance at life that they most likely would have never had otherwise.

 

 

But you are doing much more than that. You are teaching their comminity charity. You are lowering crime, preventing disease, building good and lasting relationships at a grassroots level.

 

 

So what does it cost?

 

Well, depending on the country, it will cost between $10 and $30 per child per month. We have orphanages in many "sizes" so the cost does vary. The good news is that just like in the individual sponsorship, Lifeline of Hope is your partner...and others may be as well.

 

You can team up with another family, business or congregation to adopt an orphanage. Lifeline of Hope will help match you with an appropriately sized orphanage in the country of your choice.
